Unusual jet-black skin makes a gorgeous contrast with the bright white flesh.

Also known as Black Winter radish, with rich spicy flavor excellent for salads and cruditee. Coarse outer skin allows for exceptionally long storage in the ground or the root cellar. Often eaten in Germany as a “beer radish”, served thinly sliced with salt and paired with a light beer.
